🎓 Level: BSc / MSc | Junior (0–2 years)

💼 Field: Commodity Trading | International Business | Sales

🕒 Working hours: 40 hours per week

🌍 Languages: Fluent French (C1 or equivalent) and excellent English

At Interfood, you'll become part of a global dairy commodity trading organisation, connecting suppliers and customers across international markets.

You'll develop business relationships, identify opportunities, negotiate deals and contribute directly to trading results.

And you won't be doing it alone.

Experienced traders will guide you as you develop your commercial judgement, market knowledge and negotiation skills.

𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗗𝗢?

• Develop and maintain relationships with international customers and suppliers

• Identify new business opportunities and expand existing markets

• Monitor commodity prices, product developments and market trends

• Negotiate commercial agreements and close profitable deals

• Prepare purchase and sales contracts, including Incoterms and payment conditions

• Work closely with Senior Traders and the commercial management team

• Visit customers and suppliers and attend international trade fairs

Commodity trading is about understanding markets, recognising opportunities and making decisions.

You need to combine analytical thinking with commercial instinct.

One moment, you're analysing international market developments. The next, you're negotiating with a supplier or developing a long-term customer relationship.

It's a role where 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 go hand in hand.

𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗪𝗘 𝗔 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛?

You have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Science or a related discipline.

You're commercially minded, motivated by results and interested in building an international career.

In addition, you:

• Have excellent French communication skills, both spoken and written (C1 level or equivalent)

• Have excellent English communication skills

• Have a genuine interest in international trading and commercial negotiations

• Enjoy competition and are motivated to achieve results

• Combine entrepreneurial ambition with teamwork

• Show resilience, determination and ownership

• Can build and maintain long-term business relationships

• Are comfortable making commercial decisions in a dynamic environment

An interest in 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀 is particularly relevant.
