Marketing & Communications Manager

Location: Netherlands preferred, remote across Europe considered

The Opportunity

We are recruiting a hands-on Marketing & Communications Manager for an ambitious, international deep-tech business operating across Europe, the UK, the US and Asia.

This is an opportunity to build and lead marketing activity in an emerging technology market, driving brand awareness, demand generation, sales pipeline and investor communications. You will use modern marketing tools, AI and automation to deliver measurable results in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop marketing campaigns to generate leads and drive revenue across international markets.
• Own brand positioning, messaging, content creation and website development.
• Manage digital marketing, SEO, paid search, social media, events, webinars and PR.
• Build AI-enabled marketing workflows and manage CRM, automation and analytics.
• Support fundraising communications and develop strategic partner campaigns.
• Work closely with sales and leadership to deliver measurable commercial results.

About You

• 5+ years' B2B marketing experience, ideally within a start-up or scale-up.
• Strong practical experience using AI, automation and modern marketing tools.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technology clearly.
• Experience across digital marketing, content, demand generation and PR.
• Commercially minded, data-driven and comfortable working independently with agencies and freelancers.

Desirable experience:

• Knowledge of quantum technology or other deep-tech markets, such as semiconductors, high-performance computing (HPC), scientific instruments, or test and measurement.
• Experience marketing to universities, laboratories and government-funded research programmes.
• Experience supporting a company through a funding round.
• Experience working across the US, Europe and Asia.
