Owner

Role Description As an Owner at Gemeente Oss, you are responsible for overseeing and guiding strategic initiatives, projects, or services that contribute to the municipality’s development and the well-being of residents and businesses. You coordinate stakeholders, set priorities, and ensure that decisions and actions align with Oss’s long-term vision and community values. On a day-to-day basis, you manage project roadmaps, monitor progress and budgets, assess risks, and ensure clear communication with internal teams and external partners. You facilitate collaboration across departments, support innovation, and help translate community needs into actionable plans and measurable results. This is a full-time remote role, with digital collaboration and regular online meetings with colleagues and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, ownership, and decision-making skills, with experience guiding complex projects or programs.
• Proficiency in stakeholder management and collaboration, including working with residents, businesses, and internal teams.
• Excellent strategic thinking, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills to translate vision into concrete actions.
• Advanced communication skills in verbal and written form, with the ability to present ideas clearly and build consensus.
• Organizational and planning skills, including experience with project management, prioritization, and working with deadlines.
• Affinity with public administration, urban development, or community-focused initiatives; experience in a municipal or governmental environment is an advantage.
• Comfort with remote work tools and digital collaboration platforms, and the ability to work independently while remaining team-oriented.
• Relevant higher-level education (e.g., public administration, management, urban planning, social sciences) or equivalent professional experience.
