Location: Amsterdam

Global travel client now requires an experienced Senior iOS Developer to join a leading global travel technology company on a 12-month contract based in Amsterdam.

You will be responsible for developing and enhancing features within a large-scale, customer-facing iOS application used by millions of travellers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver new iOS features using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Collaborate with iOS developers, backend engineers, UX designers and product teams to enhance the mobile customer experience.
• Maintain high application quality by investigating crashes, resolving complex bugs and supporting production incidents.
• Optimise application performance, identifying bottlenecks and improving efficiency.
• Implement and maintain automated tests, including unit and snapshot testing.
• Contribute to A/B testing, release planning and continuous improvement.
• Support technical discussions, code quality and the professional development of other engineers.

Required Experience

• 6+ years of commercial iOS development experience using Swift.
• Strong hands-on experience with SwiftUI.
• Strong understanding of full-stack engineering and backend software concepts.
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with A/B testing and release planning.
• Extensive experience writing unit and snapshot tests.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues and optimising application performance.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
