Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technical Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, cloud security architecture, cloud application migration, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The candidate will be responsible for defining the Azure cloud architecture strategy and roadmap, designing enterprise-scale cloud solutions, and leading cloud migration and application modernization initiatives.

The role requires strong architectural leadership, the ability to establish governance standards, and experience guiding technical teams and stakeholders in delivering secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the Azure cloud architecture strategy, standards, and long-term roadmap.
• Design and lead the implementation of scalable, resilient, and secure enterprise-level cloud architectures using Microsoft Azure.
• Lead cloud migration strategies, including the assessment, planning, and migration of applications and workloads to Azure.
• Provide architectural guidance for application modernization and cloud-native solution development.
• Design and implement cloud security architecture, ensuring appropriate security controls and compliance with organizational standards.
• Establish architectural governance, design principles, and best practices across cloud projects.
• Define and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure architectural alignment.
• Evaluate cloud technologies and recommend appropriate solutions based on business and technical requirements.
• Support cloud cost optimization, performance, scalability, availability, and operational efficiency.
• Lead and mentor technical teams and provide architectural direction throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Communicate architecture decisions, technical roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to business and technical stakeholders.

Essential Skills

• 10+ years of relevant experience in IT architecture, cloud architecture, or enterprise technology, with substantial hands-on Azure experience.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services and enterprise cloud architecture.
• Strong experience in cloud security architecture and secure cloud solution design.
• Proven experience with cloud application migration and application modernization.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform.
• Experience defining cloud architecture strategies, roadmaps, and governance frameworks.
• Ability to design scalable, resilient, secure, and highly available cloud solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and technical leadership skills.
• Proven ability to lead, guide, and mentor technical teams.

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
• Understanding of cloud cost optimization and FinOps principles.
• Experience with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud architecture patterns.
• Microsoft certifications, particularly Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Exposure to cloud-native application architectures and modern engineering practices.
